Rebranding a domestic violence organisation

Our Watch came to us needing a design for a sub-site that would be used to create a new income stream for the NGO. The project was limited in budget and time, so we had a shorter design process to work with.

Wireframing

During the wire-framing stage, I focused on establishing the fundamental structure and layout of the website, prioritizing user flow and functionality over aesthetics. By creating low-fidelity wireframes, I was able to experiment with various layouts, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.

Visual elements

For the colour palette, I aimed to create a visually cohesive and engaging experience that aligned with the brand’s identity. I selected a primary colour that conveyed the brand's core values—trust, innovation, and warmth—while secondary colours were chosen to complement the primary hue and add depth to the design

Final designs

The layout was crafted with conversion in mind, guiding users through a streamlined journey towards selecting a product offering.

Key elements, such as prominent call-to-action buttons and strategically placed product showcases, were positioned to capture attention and encourage engagement.

I organised the content to lead users naturally from awareness to decision, using visual hierarchy. This conversion-focused design ensured that users were funneled efficiently towards completing their purchases while maintaining a smooth and intuitive browsing experience.
